Let’s take a look at how some of the bigger brands are using AI in advertising.

Dove created an AI-generated video campaign called "The Code" that critiques the negative impact of AI on beauty standards and women's self-esteem, while also demonstrating the brand’s commitment to ‘real beauty.’ Clever and effectiv.

Another standout AI campaign, this one from Coca-Cola is "Masterpiece," which uses AI to bring famous artworks to life. It really is a masterpiece.

An oldie but goodie. Already 7 years old, this campaign used algorithms to create millions of unique Nutella labels, generating massive public interest and selling 7 million jars in one month.

Take a few minutes to research and browse some of the tools in this week’s toolkit. Just pick 2 or 3 that interest you, and spend 5 minutes exploring each.

You may never use them, but your AI fluency will improve with each tool interaction - as will your confidence and authority.

The AI world is big and messy, so you need to start “mentally organizing” your knowledge in whichever way works best for you. Whether by function, task, workflow, mode, or value it’s good to find a relatable organizing framework. Next week, I’ll post suggestions to assist in this mental “knowledge categorizing and storing” process.
